Regensburg: First sun, then rain – this is how the weather will be until Thursday

In Regensburg, a noticeable change in the weather is expected by Thursday: Tuesday will still start off pleasant and reach up to 26 degrees, but in the evening rain and increasing winds will arrive. On Wednesday and Thursday it will remain significantly cooler, windy, and changeable.

Tuesday: Friendly in the morning, rain in the evening – wind shifts to west

Tuesday in Regensburg begins cloudy at first. As the morning progresses, it will clear up, becoming sunny and partly cloudless. Around midday, temperatures will reach about 26 degrees; a moderate wind will blow from the southeast.

In the afternoon, clouds will increase again. In the evening, light rain will set in. At the same time, the wind will shift to the west and can reach strong gusts of up to 40 km/h. Such gusts are especially noticeable when the atmosphere becomes more unsettled overall – for example, during the transition to a more changeable weather pattern: briefly, wind peaks can be significantly stronger than the average wind at ground level would suggest.

Wednesday: Cooling and still windy

On Wednesday morning, it will remain cloudy at around 11 degrees. During the day, it will be significantly cooler compared to Tuesday: highs will only reach about 20 degrees. It will remain cloudy, accompanied by moderate gusts from the north – weather that looks more like a transitional phase than stable early summer conditions.

Thursday: Even cooler, showers possible

The cooling will continue on Thursday. Then, only around 16 degrees will be reached in Regensburg. In addition, light rain showers are possible, accompanied by strong gusts. All in all, it will remain unsettled and noticeably fresher than midweek until Thursday.

Pollen north of the Danube: mostly low exposure

For Bavaria north of the Danube – excluding the Bavarian Forest and Mainfranken – pollen exposure is expected to remain generally low in the coming days. Grasses will cause a consistently low exposure on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Birch: Exposure slightly decreasing from low on Tuesday to none or low on Wednesday
• Ash: at a very low level on both days (none to low exposure)
• Ragweed, mugwort, alder, hazel, and rye: no exposure on either day

For allergy sufferers, this means: The situation in the mentioned area remains overall stable and rather relaxed – even if the weather itself becomes noticeably more "unsettled" from Tuesday evening onwards.
