Talk in the Cow Shed: Discussing Environment, Nature and Climate Together
When real exchanges happen among neighbors, a special event experience takes place at Hof Bleckwenn in Garmissen. At the Talk in the Cow Shed on October 2, 2026, the focus will be on what local people can do for the environment, nature, and climate, and how a common democratic dialogue can succeed.
Discussion on Equal Terms
The discussion group addresses topics that concern the village residents. People from within the community introduce the respective topic and create a personal, understandable basis for the discussion. Different opinions collide without losing respectful interaction.
Vibrant Audience Atmosphere in the Old Cow Shed
The atmosphere in Hof Bleckwenn combines rural ambiance with an open conversation culture. Even those who do not take the floor are part of the audience and actively participate in the event experience. After the official part, small snacks and drinks invite attendees to continue thoughts and discover new perspectives.
Democratic Exchange in the Village
The working group of the associations Garmissen-Ahstedt-Garbolzum relies on encounters, listening, and the willingness to take other viewpoints seriously through this format. The planning of the event focuses on target group communication, regional connectedness, and a dialogue that breaks through argument bubbles. This format is part of the cultural program Rosen&Rüben in the Hildesheim district.
Well Accessible and Wheelchair-Friendly
The event location is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair-accessible toilet. The bus stop Oedelumerstraße, served by line 31, is nearby and facilitates arrival by public transport.
Conclusion
The Talk in the Cow Shed offers an evening with relevant questions, respectful audience atmosphere, and space for personal exchange. Those who want to discuss environmental and climate protection not just abstractly, but together with local people, will experience an open dialogue in a special atmosphere in Garmissen.
