Buccaneers – Permanent Crew: Creative Marine Protection for Children in Hildesheim

Strong Together for the Seas: The Buccaneers Crew Sets Sail in Hildesheim

Attention, little Buccaneers: A new crew is forming at the Maluki Family Center for children who enjoy movement, music, play, and creative ideas. Ariane Schwarz as Ari and Charlotte Werner as Morgan invite you to become active together and advocate for clean seas and the protection of turtles.

Using Children's Laughter Against Trash in the Sea

The Garbage Buccaneers Ari and Morgan have already been out and about in the Friedrich-Nämisch Park. With the active support of many children, they collected trash and made it clear how important it is to treat our environment with care. The new permanent crew builds on this experience and connects environmental themes with child-friendly play.

Singing, Dancing, Writing, and Creating Together

The Buccaneers Crew will come alive: The children will develop small choreographies, write their own texts, sing songs, play, and dance. In doing so, they discover their voices, strengthen their body awareness, and experience how a community emerges from many individual ideas. The varied activities promote creativity, expression, movement, and social development in a playful way.

Age-Appropriate Learning Fun with an Environmental Focus

The program combines a family experience with a child-friendly learning experience. Children engage creatively with marine protection, waste reduction, and responsibility, without sacrificing fun. Joint music-making, movement, and inventing create space for curiosity, self-confidence, and mutual consideration.

Open for New Crew Members

Participation in individual sessions is possible. The event is free and accessible without registration. At selected sessions, parents may also join in; the respective dates will be announced in advance. This way, families can spend quality time together while the children gather their own experiences in the group.

A Family Experience Full of Heart and Commitment

The Buccaneers Crew welcomes families with children's laughter, movement, music, and an important message: Every little contribution counts when it comes to protecting our environment. Anyone looking for creative adventures, collaborative learning, and an engaged children’s group will enjoy a special afternoon at the Maluki Family Center.
