Autumn Vacation Week: Stage free for young storytellers

During the autumn vacation, the Maluki Family Center transforms into a creative play space for children aged 6 to 10 years. In the Autumn Vacation Week organized by the Theatre Pedagogical Center Hildesheim, stories, characters, and theater scenes arise from the children's imagination.

Playing, telling, and marveling together

Three mornings are dedicated to theater, movement, and creative expression. The children invent their own stories, share them in the group, and explore how an idea feels alive on stage. This creates shared learning experiences filled with laughter, curiosity, and joy in trying out new things.

Autumn materials become stage ideas

Leaves, branches, and other materials from nature invite creativity. From simple finds, children develop colorful props and autumnal play ideas. This strengthens imagination, fine motor skills, and the ability to present their own ideas.

Age-appropriate and pedagogically guided

The offering is aimed at children between 6 and 10 years old and is appropriately tailored to the needs of this age group. Theatre pedagogical methods promote language development, self-confidence, perspective shifting, and social learning in the group. The vacation days combine creative activity with shared time and a protected learning experience.

A vacation program with a special background

The vacation days are part of the project Moving Worlds and are supported by the Klosterkammer Hannover and the German Television Lottery. The program is organized by the Theatre Pedagogical Center Hildesheim e.V. Participation is free of charge. For planning, registration via email at ferienprojekt@tpz-hildesheim.de is required.

Conclusion: Autumn vacation full of imagination
