Autumn Holiday Week: Creative Theater Time for Children in Hildesheim

When the leaves rustle outside, an imaginative holiday time begins at the Family Center Maluki: During the Autumn Holiday Week, children aged 6 to 10 discover the world of theater, storytelling, and creative design for three mornings.

Inventing Stories and Acting

Under the guidance of the Theater Pedagogical Center Hildesheim, the children develop their own stories, step into various roles, and playfully explore how small theater scenes are created from ideas. Curiosity, expression, and shared experiences are at the center of it all.

Autumnal Materials, Imaginative Ideas

Materials from nature invite creative design and make the season tangible with all senses. Leaves, branches, and other found objects become building blocks for creative figures, sets, or stories. Thus, the holiday program combines fun learning with movement, imagination, and children's laughter.

Ages Appropriate and Educationally Guided

The offering is designed for children aged 6 to 10 and promotes important developmental steps: language skills, self-confidence, social collaboration, and creative thinking. The theater pedagogical work creates a safe framework where every child can contribute their own ideas and work together with others.

Three Mornings Full of Family Experience

The holiday week takes place from October 19 to 21, 2026, each morning. Participation is free of charge. Registration is possible via email at ferienprojekt@tpz-hildesheim.de. The project Movable Worlds is funded by the Klosterkammer Hannover and the German Television Lottery.

The Autumn Holiday Week gives children shared time, creative successes, and a stage for their own ideas. Families experience a child-friendly holiday program with theater, natural materials, and plenty of imagination – an experience that inspires children and remains in their memory.
