Home Game #2: Hildesheim's blues icons invite you to the big sound night

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, B.B. & The Blues Shacks will transform the Bischofsmühle in Hildesheim into a pulsating meeting point for Rhythm & Blues, Soul, and handcrafted Blues. At the traditional Home Game #2, the band will perform with The No Blow No Show Horns in a large formation, bringing the rich sound of the 1950s and 1960s to the stage.

Vintage sound with international format

B.B. & The Blues Shacks have represented authentic Blues with swinging energy, precise orchestration, and a stage performance that oscillates between a rough club atmosphere and elegant Sixties Soul coloring for decades. The band has played more than 4,000 concerts, released twelve albums, and received awards such as the title of Best European Blues Band. The album London Days was honored with the German Record Critics' Award.

Blues Is A Stew meets horn power

The focus of the Home Game is a cross-section from the long band history as well as material from the current album Blues Is A Stew. With The No Blow No Show Horns, the sound grows with additional horn colors: The arrangements gain more pressure, and the synchronization between the rhythm section, vocals, harp, and horn section gives the concert a special dynamism.

Henry Heggen and Blues Rudy open the evening

The opening act will be taken over by Henry Heggen and Blues Rudy. The duo combines acoustic blues, entertainer qualities, and musical closeness. Their reduced lineup creates space for direct singing, warm guitar sounds, and that tension that arises when every timing becomes audible.

Live atmosphere in the Bischofsmühle

The Bischofsmühle provides the perfect setting for a concert where the sound reaches the audience immediately. Expect driving grooves, expressive harp lines, distinctive guitar work, and an audience atmosphere that builds from the first shuffle to the last big refrain.

The concert starts on October 10, 2026, at 8:30 PM. Tickets are available from 35 Euro. Anyone who wants to not only hear the blues but experience it in its full live energy should not miss this home game in Hildesheim.
