Blues Home Game with Full Force in Hildesheim
On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Bischofsmühle in Hildesheim will transform into a pulsating meeting point for Rhythm & Blues, Sixties Soul, and authentic Acoustic Blues. B.B. & The Blues Shacks present their traditional home game together with The No Blow No Show Horns and support from The Down Home Percolators.
Rich Sound Between Rhythm & Blues and Sixties Soul
For decades, B.B. & The Blues Shacks have stood for handcrafted blues with international flair. Their sound combines the earthy directness of classic Rhythm & Blues with a swinging stage performance, soulful tones, and precise orchestration. In the Bischofsmühle, this mix unfolds an immediate live atmosphere: warm brass tones, driving grooves, and guitar lines that create tension in the room from the very first beat.
The latest album Blues Is A Stew consistently continues the band's musical signature. At the home game, a cross-section of 37 years of band history will ring out – with great joy of playing, distinctive sound, and the special audience atmosphere of a true home concert.
The No Blow No Show Horns Provide Additional Color
With The No Blow No Show Horns, the band performs in a large lineup. The additional brass enrich the sound image with powerful accents and give the arrangements more depth. Between crisp rhythm figures, pointed breaks, and soul-laden passages, a concert evening is created that combines musical precision with spontaneous energy.
Acoustic Blues as a Strong Start
The concert evening will be opened by The Down Home Percolators led by Klaus 'Mojo' Kilian and Bernd Simon. Their repertoire goes back to the roots of blues from the 1920s to the 1950s. The two musicians combine traditional expression with their own interpretations, authentic sound, and unbridled joy of playing.
An Evening for Blues Purists and Curious Concert Guests
The Bischofsmühle provides the perfect setting for this home game: close to the stage, directly in the sound, and with an atmosphere where nuances remain audible. The result is an intense concert experience with acoustic warmth, rhythmic drive, and a band that does not view blues as something museum-like but carries it forward vibrantly.
Conclusion: Visitors can expect a powerful blues evening with B.B. & The Blues Shacks, a large lineup, The No Blow No Show Horns, and support from The Down Home Percolators. Anyone who wants to experience Rhythm & Blues, Sixties Soul, and handcrafted stage music live should not miss this home game in Hildesheim.
